Hi,
Does anybody know when is the final version of Adobe AIR for Window is releasing
Thanks
Adobe Air for windowsYou can get the AIR SDK here:
http://www.adobe.com/products/air/tools/sdk/
The runtime (to run AIR apps) is here:
http://get.adobe.com/air/
Like most software products, it is only as ''final'' as the latest release.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I somewhere read that this is the Beta version of Adobe air, and because beta versions always have some bugs. I was asking for a final version.
What is the difference between Adobe air and AIR SDK.
Please advise.
Thanks
Adobe AIR is a runtime (similar to the Java JRE, for instance) that is required to run AIR applications. The AIR SDK is a set of tools and code libraries for creating AIR applications.
Hi,
Thanks. So when we generate .air help file using single source layout from Robohelp, is that AIR SDK ? Then we open that .air file suing Aobe AIR.
Thanks
Essentially, yes.
Robohelp uses the SDK to create a .air file. The Adobe AIR runtime (which is the part installed on end-users' computers) opens the .air file and installs the AIR application (created by Robohelp with the SDK). The runtime is also used when the end-user runs your help application, which is no longer an .air file at that point.
Thanks.
So AIR SDK used from Robohelp is in Beta version?
Please advise.
I would hope not! If you have an old version of Robohelp, I suppose it is possible, though. I don't know exactly how Robohelp implements its AIR feature. Maybe there's an update to Robohelp?
There is a Robohelp forum (http://forums.adobe.com/community/robohelp/airhelp) where you should be able to get more specific help about how Robohelp uses AIR.
