Thank you, Linda

With PSE 7 Unable to Open Organizer,...

Unfortunately, there are many reasons why the PSE Organizer might crash, and often it is hard to diagnose quickly the reason for the crash. I suggest you try these troubleshooting steps:

Start with step 4, and if that doesn't help, work methodically through the others.

Thank you for your response. I tried step 4. When I clicked on the link

I get an error message, ''Error ''Licensing for this product has stopped

working'' when you start any Adobe Creative Suite 3 application.'' I am a true

computer novice and I did not know if this applies to PSE7 or if Adobe

Creative Suite a different application. Should I follow the steps that pop up

from Adobe Tech Support or should I start with step 1 and try the steps in

your link?

Thank you so much for your help,

Linda

Yes, proceed with that Adobe tech note (''Error 'Licensing for this product has stopped working' when you start any Adobe Creative Suite 3 application'').?It applies to Photoshop Elements (even though it doesn't say so explicitly).

I have found that PSE7 does not work with some resident programs running in the background.?For example Babylon 8 does not co-exist with PSE7.?Especially if you are working in RAW format.?It may a memory size issue.?But I was told by an Adobe person they know of the problem and it will be fixed in future releases.?When I've tried to do any of the O E C S functions the program goes to ''not responding''?but if I keep to small JPEG it will mostly work.?I've thought of working PSE 7 on a dedicated computer because I use it in my work very often and can't?have it shut down and get my work done.

Thank you for your help. By following the directions in the Adobe Tech

Note, I was able to get it working again.
