Hi,
I've no idea if this is possible or not but when I invoke the ''xfa.host.print'' or another similar JavaScript print method is there anyway to determine if the print operation was successful?
For example, if I choose in my print parameters to not present the dialog box, and just proceed printing without prompting, presumably an error would be returned if the user did not have a default printer set up. Is there any way to determine this?
Thanks,
Ray.
Determine if Print was successfulI don't think its possible.
AFAIK when a PDF prints the reader transfers the responsability of the printing job to the driver in question. Kind of a shoot-and-forget operation.
After the job is passed to the driver then its the driver's responsability to get it done or warn the end-user about any faults in operation.
But i'm not 100% sure on this.
Determine if Print was successfulYes Rui is correct ....there is no dialog between the printer and the sending application.
