Unable to use CS2 after loading to...

Hi

I hope someone can advise,

I originally had CS and upgraded to CS2 which I have used happily for the past 3 years.?My computer went down recently and I have a ne replacement laptop w, ith Vista installed.

I loaded CS2 and everything went well until I went to use it.?Firstly a registration window appeared asking me to register ( I have already registered though? Whatever I do with the registration scrren I am then directed to an activation window where I am advised that I do not have user rights, I then click OK (the only option) and CS2 closes down.

I have tried reloading the software etc and have loaded my original CS.

I spent about 3 hours on the phone this week with Adobe's customer support who were sympathetic and helpful but culd not resolve ( my case number is 120 248216)

Unable to use CS2 after loading to...

Right click on the PS Icon and run it as administrator.

Also CS2 is flaky on Vista as written in past posts.

Hi

Thanks very much for your advice-it worked straiht away. I cannot believe that (although I do) that no-one I spoke to that is 4 people in all and one of them in the tchnical dept it was that simple.

Thanks also for the advice about vista-I'll see how things go and possibly look at CS4 sometime

regards

John
